OVERVIEW

SURFBOARD CONSTRUCTION COMPOSITES

At Natural Curves surfboards we offer several Composite Options in the contruction of our boards. All of our boards feature PU or EPS blanks with solid wood T band stringers. T band stringers are a significant component of quality construction. The PU and Epoxy resins and fabrics we use in our boards are the highest quality available to our industry. Every Natural Curves Surfboard is built by surfer craftsmen who are passionate about surfing and surfboard design and construction.

POLYURETHANE - POLYESTER COMPOSITE

Traditional surfboard composite. A polyurethane foam blank core with a polyeter resin and fiberglass skin. US Blanks of various densities with solid wood T band stringers, Silmar ortho and iso resins, and Hexel and Aerialite "E" and "S" fabrics.

POLYURETHANE - EPOXY COMPOSITES

Composites combining the stability of polyurethane foam blank cores and the superior physical properties of epoxy resin. A polyurethane foam blank core with an epoxy resin and fiberglass skin. US Blanks of various densities with solid wood T band stringers, Resin Research epoxy resins, and Hexel and Aerialite "E" and "S" fabrics. Post cured to achieve maximum physical properties.

EPS - EPOXY COMPOSITES

Composites combining the latest generation of EPS foam blank cores and the superior physical properties of epoxy resin. US Blanks or Marko Foam EPS foam blank cores of various densities with solid wood T band, bamboo, or composite stringers, Resin Research epoxy resins, and Hexel and Aerialite "E" and "S" fabrics. FINS & FIN SYSTEMS

Futures, FCS II, and FCS Fusion fin systems and Bahne boxes are standard options for all fin configurations - single fins, 2 + 1s, twin fins, thrusters, quads, and convertibles. Glass on fins are also an available option. Glass on fins are particularly well suited for twin fins considering their large surface area and corresponding load on fins and removable fin systems.
